Powertrain and Design
The JCB | MIDI CX is powered by a four-cylinder, 2.2-liter indirect injection diesel engine, naturally aspirated and water-cooled. The maximum power output is 50 hp (38 kW), with a torque rating of 105 lbf ft (143 Nm) at 1800 rpm. The engine complies with EPA Tier III standards, ensuring high efficiency and low emissions.
Undercarriage and Hydraulics
This machine features a hydrostatic transmission that allows for smooth switching between speeds. Travel speeds can reach up to 17.4 mph (28 kph) in both directions. The hydraulic system, with a pump delivering 19 gpm (72 l/min), provides sufficient power for all operational functions, including loader and backhoe activities.
Operating Parameters
The JCB | MIDI CX can achieve a maximum digging depth of 10 ft (3048 mm) and a maximum reach at full height of 6-2 (1875 mm). The loader lift capacity reaches a maximum of 3478 lb (1578 kg), allowing for efficient task handling on construction sites. The bucket breakout force is rated at 6025 lbf (2733 kgf).
Optional Equipment
Optional features for this machine include mechanical quick hitches and hydraulic PTO rated at 25 hp. Users can customize the machine according to their needs with additional tire options and features such as a three-point hitch and additional hydraulic controls.
