    Choose the attachment by task

    This category is the starting point for more specific listings. Use the bucket subcategory for digging and grading, grapples or magnets for handling and sorting, and breakers, shears, crushing or screening attachments for demolition and recycling. Augers and concrete mixers cover different tasks, while couplers are used to change tools. Once you have selected the attachment type, compare listings within that subcategory.

    Check compatibility with the exact excavator

    • Carrier and approved configuration: provide the excavator's exact model, configuration and serial number. Check attachment weight, carrier class, lifting limits and manufacturer restrictions for the fitted boom, stick and counterweight.
    • Mounting interface: compare the coupler or pin-on interface, pin diameters, pin-centre distance and inside ear width. A statement such as “fits 5–8 tonne excavators” does not confirm compatibility on its own.
    • Hydraulics and controls: check required flow and pressure, one-way or two-way auxiliary hydraulics, case drain or return line, hoses, connectors and any electrical control kit.
    • Scope and condition: confirm weight, working width or capacity, and whether the adapter, coupler and hoses are included. For a used attachment, inspect the identification plate and serial number, pins and bushings, cracks or welded repairs, wear parts, cylinders, hoses and leaks.

    Confirm final compatibility in the documentation for the excavator, coupler and attachment using the relevant serial numbers.
