Start with the machine make, model, year and electrical version. A similar enclosure does not prove compatibility with its sensors, valves, drive or software.
Confirm before purchase
Compatibility: supported machines, voltage, harnesses, sensor inputs, outputs and software version. Process control: retraction speed, application calculation, remaining length and end-of-run stop.
Protection: pressure, flow or drive monitoring, alarms, emergency stop and error history. Power and communication: battery, solar panel, cellular or radio hardware only where included.
Inspecting a used controller
Request the part number, wiring diagram, manual and list of modules, sensors and licences. Inspect the enclosure, connectors, corrosion, display and fault log.
Test every input and output on a compatible machine. Screen resets, unstable measurements or failed communications require diagnosis before purchase.
