How to match a loader crane to a vehicle and load

The lifting-moment class helps with an initial comparison, but the decision should use the load chart at the required outreach and the actual installation.

Essential data

Capacity at the required outreach, hydraulic and manual extensions, working height and slewing range.
Crane mass, mounting position, subframe, stabiliser geometry and spread, and axle loads of the completed vehicle.
Required hydraulic flow and pressure, PTO and pump, oil tank, cooling and control type.

Equipment and compatibility

Confirm whether the offer includes the base, stabilisers, valve block, remote control, hoses, hook and accessories shown.
A grab, rotator, forks or winch changes tip mass and operating conditions; verify the permitted configuration.
Crane, subframe, vehicle and installation documents must describe the same completed system.
