Powertrain and Design

The PONSSE Wisent is a versatile forwarder designed with optimal weight distribution and geometry to minimize soil damage. It offers ease of maneuverability on narrow and winding forestry roads, as the rear wheels follow the front wheels precisely. The integration of modern materials and production technology results in efficiency and durability, making it an excellent solution for various working conditions.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The PONSSE Wisent features an outstanding ratio between net weight and load capacity, significantly reducing ground pressure. It is available in both 6-wheel and 8-wheel versions, with an impressively small turning radius of 7.5 m. The hydraulic system includes a work pump with a capacity of 145 cm³ and an oil tank volume of 130 l in standard configuration.

Operating Parameters

The PONSSE Wisent is available with a net weight of 14,800 kg (8-wheel) and 14,000 kg (6-wheel). The machine's length ranges from 8,830 mm to 9,680 mm plus an extension of 610 mm. The safe transport height is 3,750 mm, with a maximum torque of 675 Nm at 1,200–1,600 rpm.
