Jungheinrich EKX 516a – Product Description
Powertrain and Design
The Jungheinrich EKX 516a is an Automated Guided Vehicle, based on the proven EKX 516ka model. The vehicle is equipped with an 80V drive system and a new maintenance-free synchronous reluctance motor, allowing it to achieve high performance while reducing energy loss by 10%. The maximum lift height is 13,000 mm.
Undercarriage and Hydraulics
The EKX 516a employs wire guidance and RFID transponders, providing precise positioning in the warehouse and enabling automatic aisle changes. The vehicle operates effectively in narrow aisles, increasing the efficiency of warehouse processes and saving time and money.
Operating Parameters
This truck has a maximum capacity of 1,600 kg and a travel speed of up to 12 km/h both with and without load. It supports either conventional battery replacement or charging via bus bar, allowing for efficient 24/7 operation. The maximum lift height is 13 m.
Optional Equipment
Optionally, the truck can be equipped with an on-board battery charger, bus bar, and current collector to enable round-the-clock operation. Additionally, different pallet handling options are available, increasing flexibility in warehouse management.
Safety and Technical Data
All EKX models, including the EKX 516a, comply with European safety standards. The truck is characterized by high efficiency and safety levels, and its regenerative braking system maximizes energy recovery during operation.
