VIRTUS AST – Product Description

Powertrain and Design

The VIRTUS AST is a fully automatic liquid spreader that operates in accordance with the driving speed. The material dispensed as well as the spreading width are adjusted based on the current speed. The robust liquid tanks are made of thermoplastic material resistant to extreme weather conditions, ensuring stable distribution of liquid contents.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The VIRTUS AST features various drive systems, including a diesel engine and vehicle hydraulic systems. Its modular tank design optimizes working conditions for drivers and maintenance personnel, providing easy access to central components within a well-organized machine house.

Operating Parameters

The VIRTUS AST is available in three capacity variants: 7500 l, 10000 l, and 12500 l. Its working width can be adjusted from 3 to 11 meters, with increments of 1 meter for better adaptation to windy conditions and road specifics. The Spratronic nozzles allow operation speeds of up to 90 km/h, which accelerates the completion of tasks.

Optional Equipment

The VIRTUS AST can be equipped with various off-loading systems and includes the wireless EpoMaster® IV remote control, facilitating quick material shifts and control of the spreading pattern and quantity. Additional options include data management systems like EpoSat and control through GSM and GPRS mobile technologies.

Safety and Technical Data

This machine bears ISO 9001:2008 certification along with TLG B-3, GS, and E1 approvals, confirming its compliance with standards and directives, including RoHS and WEEE. Through modern technological solutions, the VIRTUS AST significantly reduces material consumption, thereby minimizing its environmental impact.
