CP224W – Product Description
Powertrain and Design
The CP224W is a pneumatic roller used in construction. It is powered by a Cummins QSB 3.3 T3 engine, which is a water-cooled turbo diesel. The engine provides a rated power of 99 hp (74 kW) at 2200 rpm. The fuel tank capacity is 210 liters, and the electrical system operates at 24V.
Undercarriage and Hydraulics
The CP224W features a hydraulic system utilizing an axial piston pump with variable displacement. It has two axial piston motors also with variable displacement to drive the machine. The service brake consists of two multidisc brakes on the rear wheels activated by a pedal, along with failsafe multidisc brakes in both gearboxes for emergency use.
Operating Parameters
The CP224W has an operating mass of 9450 kg, increasing to 14150 kg with wet sand ballast and a maximum of 21000 kg with full ballast. Its rolling width is 2265 mm, with maximum wheel loads reaching up to 3000 kg. The machine can achieve speeds of up to 23 km/h and 20 km/h in EEC countries.
Optional Equipment
The CP224W is equipped with a water spray system with a tank capacity of 415 liters and one nozzle per tire. The ballast volume can be adjusted, with a maximum capacity of 2.20 m³. Various accessory options are available for customization to meet specific operational needs.
Safety and Technical Data
The machine complies with SAE J1995 standards and includes safety features such as ROPS to protect the operator. Tire pressure ranges from a minimum of 250 kPa to a maximum of 850 kPa. Additionally, it is equipped with safeguards against excessive loads.
