Powertrain and Design
The BOMAG BW145 D-5 is a soil compaction machine equipped with a hydrostatic drive system. It features a Deutz TD 2.9 L04 engine with a power output of 55.4 kW, ensuring reliable performance during operation. The machine also incorporates a hydrostatic steering system, facilitating maneuverability in challenging terrain conditions. Additionally, the BW145 D-5 is equipped with a No-Spin system, enhancing traction on slippery surfaces.
Undercarriage and Hydraulics
The undercarriage of the BW145 D-5 consists of a hydrostatic drive and two independent hydraulic systems. It can reach speeds of up to 10 km/h, promoting work efficiency. Furthermore, the hydraulic system provides precise control and adjusts work speed according to material density. The use of 12.5-20 12PR tires ensures optimal stability on various surfaces.
