Gas tankers are specialized vehicles used for transporting gases in a liquefied or compressed state. Depending on the type of gas they are transporting, they can be made of different materials such as steel or aluminum. They often have thermal insulation and safety systems to prevent leaks or fires.

  • LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) is a mixture of propane and butane,
  • LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) is liquefied natural gas that is transported at a temperature of minus 162 degrees Celsius,
  • CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) is compressed natural gas that is transported at very high pressure.

Gas tankers are mainly used for transporting LPG, LNG, and CNG. Gas tankers are usually large and heavy, and their capacity can reach up to several thousand liters. Due to the nature of the material being transported and the need to comply with strict safety regulations, their operation is strictly regulated and requires special training and certification for drivers.
