How should Coaches listings be compared?
A coach is intended mainly for longer journeys with seated passengers and substantial luggage space. A city bus prioritises passenger turnover, while an intercity bus may combine features of both classes.
What actually changes the choice?
Compare approved seats, pitch, luggage-hold volume, gross weight and axle loads at full occupancy. Toilets, galley equipment, sockets, media, heating, HVAC and facilities for two drivers may matter on tours, but every option increases unladen mass.
Choose length, axle layout, engine and retarder for the road profile and gradients. Check mobility access, doors, emergency exits and luggage arrangements. Model year is less informative than documented mileage, structural corrosion and the quality of major-component maintenance.
How should a used vehicle be checked?
