When choosing a drill-driver, several factors should be taken into account:

  • Power - the higher the power, the easier it will be to drill into harder materials such as concrete or metal. For ordinary household tasks, a power of around 500 W is sufficient.
  • Rotational speed - the higher the speed, the faster the work can be done. For most household tasks, a speed of around 1500 rpm is sufficient.
  • Functions - drill-drivers can have various functions, such as torque setting, impact function, or speed regulation. Depending on the needs, it is worth choosing a model with the appropriate functions.
  • Battery or mains power - drill-drivers can operate on battery or mains power. Battery-powered models are more portable but have less power and working time on a single charge.
  • Weight and ergonomics - it is worth choosing a model that will be comfortable to use and not too heavy, especially if we plan to work for a longer time.
  • Brand and price - it is worth choosing reputable brands that offer good quality products. At the same time, the most expensive model is not always the best, it is worth comparing different models and choosing the one that best suits our needs and budget.
