Construction cranes are special devices used for transporting heavy objects on a construction site or other workplace. They are usually hydraulic machines that allow for lifting and moving various types of loads, including prefabricated building components, pipes, formwork, steel structural elements, and other materials.

Construction cranes consist of three basic elements: the mast, arm, and basket. The mast is a vertical element that enables the lifting of the basket, while the horizontal arm allows for the movement of the load in the horizontal plane. The basket is the platform on which the loads are placed.

Depending on their intended use, construction cranes can be equipped with various accessories, such as hooks, concrete buckets, buckets, grabs, or special devices for moving formwork. Construction cranes can be manually operated or powered by an engine, and can also be controlled by a manual device or remote control.

Construction cranes are available in various sizes and capacities, depending on the user's needs. Their selection depends on the type of work to be performed, the weight of the load, the distance to be covered, and the height at which the crane will operate.
