Powertrain and Design

The BACKHOE LOADER 3CX-14/3CX SUPER/4CX SUPER features a JCB EcoMAX engine with outputs of 74 hp (55 kW), 91 hp (68 kW), or 109 hp (81 kW). It provides a maximum digging depth ranging from 14'7'' to 20'1'' (4.45 m – 6.12 m). The standard limited-slip differential in the rear axle enhances traction and performance, reducing tire wear.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The hydraulic system achieves a peak flow of 44 gpm (165 l/min), allowing fast and responsive working cycles. Additionally, an optional 6-speed Autoshift transmission can provide a traveling speed of up to 26 mph (41.8 km/h). The machine is characterized by high ground clearance and a departure angle of 20 degrees, making it suitable for steep slopes and uneven ground.

Operating Parameters

The BACKHOE LOADER 3CX-14/3CX SUPER/4CX SUPER features a standard-fit parallel-lift front loader that automatically adjusts bucket levels. The inner-box-design Extradig feature adds an extra 3 feet 11 inches (1.2 m) of digging depth and reach. The standard lift point is 11,000 lb (4989 kg) and comes equipped with heavy-duty lift cylinders.

Optional Equipment

The machine offers various attachments, including hydraulic quick couplers for fast changing of implements. Other available options include buckets, hydraulic thumbs, and tools for specialized tasks.
