Powertrain and Design

The VOLVO L25B is a compact industrial loader powered by a four-cylinder in-line diesel engine. The engine delivers a rated power of 44 kW (60 PS) at 2300 r/min. Featuring direct injection and an oil/air cooling system, this engine offers high efficiency and low emissions. A relatively light operational weight of 4.8 to 4.9 tons provides excellent agility and mobility. The hydrostatic drive, combined with an automatic speed selection system, facilitates easy operation.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The L25B’s undercarriage ensures optimal traction with its fully locking 100% differential lock. Maneuverability is significantly enhanced by the articulated joint design, providing excellent turning capabilities. The hydraulic system of the L25B features a control lever with differential functions and a fully hydraulic pump with a capacity of 55 l/min. This hydraulic system handles lifting, tilting, and quick coupler functions.

Operating Parameters

The VOLVO L25B loader offers bucket capacities ranging from 0.85 to 1.5 m³, making it a versatile tool for various applications. The maximum torque is 190 Nm at 1700 r/min, ensuring outstanding performance under load. The lift time for loads is 6.0 seconds, while the lowering time is 4.0 seconds. Additionally, the L25B can operate with a wide range of attachments, further enhancing its versatility in industrial applications.

Optional Equipment

The VOLVO L25B presents available attachments such as various bucket types, pallet forks, and additional hydraulic work circuits. Optionally, a cab with air conditioning and a radio can improve the working environment. The engine parameter monitoring system is easily visible to the operator, allowing continuous observation of necessary operational data. Furthermore, the cab offers an ergonomic seat with adjustable features.

Safety and Technical Data

Operator safety is ensured with standard ROPS and FOPS systems that provide protection against overturning and falling objects. The L25B is equipped with a braking system that consists of dual hydrostatic brakes and a parking brake acting on all wheels.
