Powertrain and Design

The ECR28 and ECR38 machines are powered by Volvo low-emission diesel engines, with outputs of 13.5 kW and 19.9 kW, respectively. The ECR28 uses a 3-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1.12 l, while the ECR38 is equipped with a 1.64 l engine. Both engines feature an automatic idle shutdown function, reducing fuel consumption and noise levels. Additionally, the machines are characterized by a short swing radius and high maneuverability.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The undercarriage in both models is based on hydraulic axial piston motors, providing high traction power. The ECR28 achieves a maximum speed of 3.8 km/h, while the ECR38 reaches 3.9 km/h. The Load Sensing hydraulic system allows for independent machine movements, increasing operational efficiency. The hydraulic performance of the ECR28 is up to 64.4 l/min, while the ECR38 can deliver 94.3 l/min at higher operating pressures of 21 MPa and 24 MPa, respectively.
