Powertrain and Design

The Volvo ECR355E is a crawler excavator featuring a power output of 245 hp (180 kW) and an operational weight ranging from 34.1 to 38.0 t. It is equipped with a Volvo D8J engine, known for its high torque and low RPM, which ensures energy efficiency and longevity. The machine's design offers optimal stability and work comfort, while its short swing radius allows for operations in confined spaces.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The ECR355E is fitted with an E-Series hydraulic system that utilizes advanced electronic control technology. This system increases pump power for faster and smoother operation. The optional ECO mode enables economical operation, reducing fuel consumption by up to 10%. The integrated travel system provides excellent control and appropriate speeds for demanding terrain conditions.
