Powertrain and Design
The Volvo BL61B is equipped with a low emission, turbocharged Volvo D4D diesel engine with a net power of 62 kW (83 HP) for the BL61 model and 68 kW (91 HP) for the BL61 Plus. The engine features a 40% torque rise. The entire design of the machine is aimed at providing excellent visibility and impressive digging force thanks to its exclusive self-levelling system.
Undercarriage and Hydraulics
The BL61B features hydrostatic steering and an open-centre hydraulic system, allowing for optimal power utilization. The hydraulic performance reaches a maximum flow rate of 114 l/min, with a working pressure of 250 bar for the excavator.
