Powertrain and Design

The TX660 is a tractor loader with an operating weight of 10,613 lbs (4,794 kg). It is powered by a turbocharged PERKINS engine, model 1004.40T, with a net power rating of 89 hp (67 kW) at 2,000 rpm. The engine features a maximum torque of 268 lbf (363 Nm) at 1,400 rpm and a displacement of 244 in³ (3.99 L). Its three-point hitch with quadrant control offers enhanced versatility.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The TX660 is equipped with four-wheel drive and a soft-shift Powershuttle transmission that ensures smooth power transitions. The hydraulic system includes a single gear pump, delivering pressure up to 2,750 psi (190 bar) with a flow rate of 29.7 US gpm (108 Lpm) for the loader.
