Powertrain and Design
The Terex TLB840 features a high-performance 94hp (70kW) air-cooled engine, providing smooth and economical operation. It offers a modern ROPS/FOPS cab that enhances operator comfort while providing increased workspace. New solid cast counterweights improve weight distribution across the machine. The new servo power synchro transmission facilitates smooth control over all operations.
Working System and Hydraulics
The new slew system delivers high torque for easier backfilling and slewing operations. The Terex TLB840 has an optional two auxiliary hydraulic circuits, expanding its functionality with various attachments. The hydraulic system comprises gear pumps ensuring excellent performance parameters. Adjustments to stabilizer wear pads simplify the maintenance and use of the machine.
Operating Parameters
The maximum digging depth is 5.4m, with a ground level reach of 6.7m, making it suitable for various earthmoving tasks. The cab offers superb visibility, enhancing operator efficiency. The observation angle during trenching is improved by the opening rear quarter windows. The maximum loading height of the loader reaches 3.5m.
Optional Equipment
The machine is available with a wide range of optional equipment, such as a 7-in-1 bucket, pallet forks, and quick couplers. Various types of digging and grabbing buckets can be selected, improving the versatility and productivity of the machine. Additionally, the new “Deep Dig” bucket allows easy clamping of objects between the bucket and dipper.
Safety and Technical Data
The Terex TLB840 complies with ROPS/FOPS standards, providing enhanced protection for the operator. The undercarriage features high-performance disc brakes and a differential lock ensuring excellent stability and control. The new transmission increases fuel efficiency by reducing driveline losses by 9%. The cab is equipped with a CABS system that reduces noise levels to 78 dB(a).
