Powertrain and Design

The Terex 880 SX is a backhoe loader with an operating weight of 7370 kg, featuring a Perkins 1104D-44T engine rated at 74.5 kW (100 hp). The engine has a displacement of 4.4 liters and complies with EU Stage 3A and US EPA Tier 3 emissions standards. Its design facilitates easy operation through the use of a foot-operated differential lock system and durable, sealed wet disc brakes.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

This backhoe loader is equipped with either a synchro shuttle or powershift transmission, offering four driving speeds. This configuration allows for high transport speeds, reducing travel time on highways. The closed center hydraulic flow sharing system with cleanable oil coolers ensures long system life and efficient cooling.

Operating Parameters

The machine offers a digging depth ranging from 4438 mm to 5782 mm. The bucket capacity for the backhoe can reach up to 1 m³, with a maximum lift capacity of 3984 kg. The design permits a maximum reach of 5.73 m.

Optional Equipment

The machine can be outfitted with various accessories, including buckets of different widths and stability systems. Features do not include air conditioning or particulate filters. It can also be equipped with excavator buckets ranging from 305 mm to 900 mm in width.
