TB285 – Product Description

Powertrain and Design

The TB285 is a hydraulic excavator with an operating weight of 8,465 kg. It features a Yanmar / 4TNV98T engine that complies with EU Stage III A and EPA Interim Tier 4 emissions standards. The powertrain includes a turbocharged engine, an automatic fuel bleed system, and engine preheating. The cooling system ensures high efficiency with high-capacity fuel filters and automatic deceleration.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The TB285 features an undercarriage with triple flanged track rollers and automatic track tensioning. Standard crawlers are 450 mm wide, with optional steel crawlers also available. The hydraulic system is closed center, load sensing, providing exceptional multi-function capabilities and precise control through hydraulic joysticks.

Operating Parameters

For the mono boom, the TB285 achieves a maximum breakout force of 59.1 kN and a maximum digging force of 40.0 kN. The maximum digging depth is 4,230 mm, with a maximum reach of 7,105 mm. Slew speed is 10.3 min^-1, and travel speeds include 2.6 km/h for the first gear and 5.0 km/h for the second gear.

Optional Equipment

The excavator offers additional equipment options such as independent arms with pattern change capability and automatic pressure release systems. Comfort features for the operator, including climate control and heated seats, are also available.

Safety and Technical Data
