Powertrain and Design

The TADANO GR-300EX crane features a CUMMINS Diesel QSB6.7 engine, delivering a maximum power of 160 kW (217 PS) at 2500 min-1. It offers a manual drive selection for either 4 x 2 or 4 x 4 operation. The vehicle is equipped with two steering types: front two-wheel and all-wheel drive. This construction ensures stability and operational efficiency in various terrain conditions.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The crane is equipped with four hydraulic stabilizers arranged in an 'H' configuration for equal downward stability. It can handle loads up to 30 t at a radius of 3.00 m. The hydraulic system features an automatic load moment control (type: AML) as well as the ability to control each stabilizer individually. The entire hydraulic system enables effective load management and quick responses during operations.

Operating Parameters

The GR-300EX achieves a maximum speed of 47 km/h with a total weight of 26,940 kg. Its operational reach with the boom extends up to 31.0 m, and the telescoping time is 91 seconds. Additionally, the boom angle can be adjusted from 0° to 81°. The safety systems and visual load monitoring on the AML display ensure smooth working conditions.

Optional Equipment

The crane may be equipped with various accessories to meet user needs. Optionally available are different lengths of boom extension, enhancing its versatility. In the GR-300EX, hydraulic systems for various operations can be utilized, making it unique in its class of machines.

Safety and Technical Data

The machine is equipped with safety systems that automatically shut down movement upon detecting overload. Furthermore, the AML system monitors the boom length and load to adjust the load according to the load capacity charts. The hydraulic oil cooling system maintains optimal operating temperature and ensures long-term reliability.
