Powertrain and Design
The SOR NS 18 diesel is a modern and environmentally friendly low-floor bus designed for public transport operators in cities. This bus features high adaptability of the interior layout, allowing for seating arrangements that meet various needs. Undercarriage and Hydraulics
The undercarriage of the SOR NS 18 consists of three axles, providing stability and safety during operation. ZF components are utilized in the front axle, enhancing driving efficiency and comfort. The bus is equipped with an integrated retarder and Wabco’s EBS/ESC system, which further increases safety during its use.
Operating Parameters
The dimensions of the bus are 18750 mm in length, 2550 mm in width, and 2995 mm in height. The maximum permissible weight is 30000 kg. It has four doors, with a floor height of 340 mm. The fuel tank capacity is 400 l, and the AdBlue tank holds 50 l. The engine displaces 8.71 l, producing 243 kW of power and 1400 Nm of maximum torque at specified RPMs.
