Powertrain and Design

The P 40.8 PLUS is a versatile machine with a robust design. It features a Perkins Euro 2 diesel engine with power ranging from 64 kW to 74.5 kW, ensuring high performance. The engine is designed for excellent accessibility for maintenance, located on the side of the chassis. The hydrostatic drive system provides smooth and precise operation.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

This machine has four drive wheels with automatic synchronization and several steering modes selectable from the cab. The hydraulic system operates on a variable delivery pump basis. The maximum operational capacity of the hydraulic system is 108 l/min, with a working pressure of 210 bar.

Operating Parameters

The rated maximum load capacity is 4000 kg, with a maximum lift height of 9.07 m. The forward reach at full load is 1.7 m, and the lift height at full capacity is 6.5 m. These parameters significantly reduce the time required to complete tasks.

Optional Equipment

The P 40.8 PLUS offers a range of options, including a rear axle differential lock and the Tac-Lock quick attachment system. Additionally, optional work lights and a pneumatic seat are available. Manual air conditioning and sun blinds on the roof are also optional features.
