Powertrain and Design
The Liebherr L 554 is a wheel loader powered by the Liebherr D 924 TI-E A2 diesel engine. This 4-cylinder engine delivers a power output of 145 kW (198 HP), ensuring efficient operation. The drive system is equipped with various safety features that enhance its reliability. The operational weight of the machine is 17.3 t, making it suitable for tasks in various conditions.
Undercarriage and Hydraulics
The L 554 loader features a hydrostatic drive system of the “2plus2” type, allowing smooth speed control. The cycle time at nominal load for lifting is 5.5 seconds, facilitating efficient work. The entire hydraulic system is optimized for performance, with a maximum operating pressure of 330 bar. Additionally, oil cooling is integrated into the hydraulic system.
