Powertrain and Design

The Liebherr HS 8100.1 is powered by a diesel engine D 936 A7-05 with an output of 390 kW. The machine features a newly developed cabin that combines operator comfort with ease of handling. The cabin provides improved acoustics, orthopedic seating, and adjustable monitors. An important element is the gear oil level warning system, which facilitates daily maintenance.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The HS 8100.1 has a robust undercarriage design, allowing operation in difficult conditions. It is equipped with 3-web crawlers 800 mm wide, ensuring optimal traction off-road. The hydraulic system contains variable displacement pumps, ensuring effective use of engine power and precise load positioning.

Operating Parameters

The machine's operating weight is approximately 89 tons, with a maximum load capacity of 100 tons. The standard maximum boom length reaches up to 59 meters, and the maximum ground pressure is 1.04 kg/cm². The machine can operate under varied loads, making it versatile for construction applications.

Optional Equipment

The HS 8100.1 can be equipped with additional ballast and a second winch if needed. There is an option for a self-assembly system. Other options include various winch configurations and additional components that enhance the machine's functionality for diverse applications.

Safety and Technical Data

The machine complies with safety standards EN 474-1 and EN 474-12. The installed automatic lubrication system reduces maintenance requirements and extends the service life of the device. Emission levels meet Stage V requirements, certified according to 97/68 EC Stage V and EPA/CARB Tier 4f.
