Powertrain and Design

The VARI-CHALLENGER plow encapsulates advanced technology from KUHN. It features a variable cutting width system and the capability to lift the rear bodies, enhancing versatility in challenging soil conditions. Working System and Hydraulics

In tough plowing conditions, the rear bodies can be raised, minimizing the power requirement from the tractor. The VARI-CHALLENGER is capable of efficiently carrying out tasks under varied conditions, which is evidenced by its functional performance. Additionally, hydraulic functions are controlled via an electro-hydraulic control box KTH 105.

Operating Parameters

The plow is available with configurations ranging from 7 to 10 bodies, with a cutting width of 35 to 55 cm. The frame height is 80 cm, and the inter-body distance is 102 cm. The maximum tractor power ranges from 315 to 450 PS, ensuring effective operation across diverse scenarios.

Optional Equipment

The VARI-CHALLENGER model can be equipped with an Onland version, allowing operation with tractors up to 3.5 m wide. Additional options include a disc section on the last body and mounts for work lights. These features significantly enhance operational efficiency in challenging terrains.
