Powertrain and Design

The Komatsu PC220 features a high-performance Komatsu SA6D95L engine with an output of 153 HP (114 kW) at 2200 RPM. The machine's construction ensures increased structural integrity through computer-aided strength analysis and rigorous endurance testing. Additionally, a low-noise diesel engine and the pump and engine mutual control system minimize noise emissions, providing a more comfortable working environment.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

This machine is equipped with a hydraulic system utilizing mutual control technology, which optimizes performance while reducing fuel consumption. Depending on working conditions, the operator can select from three available working modes. The variable-capacity hydraulic pump provides maximum flow of 2x 205 l/min.

Operating Parameters

The PC220 has an operating weight of 22000 kg and a bucket capacity ranging from 0.44 m³ to 1.26 m³ (from 0.58 cu.yd. to 1.65 cu.yd.). The maximum digging depth is 5880 mm, while the maximum loading height reaches 6120 mm. The digging reach at ground level is 9090 mm.
