Powertrain and Design

The John Deere 5ML tractor is designed to tackle the demands of specialized crops. Equipped with a John Deere PowerTech™ 4045 PWS engine, it delivers a maximum power of 135.8 HP (99.9 kW) with a peak torque of 541 Nm at 1,600 rpm. The low-profile cab is ideal for comfort while working in vineyards and orchards, and the steel side panels provide extra protection against damage.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The 5ML features a hydraulic system with pressure and flow compensation, offering an output of up to 117 l/min. There are two transmission options available: PowerQuad™ and optional Powr8™, allowing optimal matching for various tasks. Lift capacities are up to 4.9 t at the rear and up to 2.9 t at the front, making it suitable for use with large implements.

Operating Parameters

The John Deere 5ML has a range of productive operating parameters: the maximum speed is 40 km/h at reduced engine speeds. Dimensions of the tractor include a wheelbase of 2,350 mm and a maximum permissible weight of 7,500 kg. Additionally, its load capacity enhances operational efficiency in the field.
