John Deere 5ML – Product Description

Powertrain and Design

The John Deere 5ML tractor features a PowerTech™ Plus engine with a maximum output of 134 HP and a torque of 541 Nm. It offers excellent pulling performance and a robust construction, making it suitable for demanding tasks in unique environments. This model is also available in a narrow axle version, which makes it ideal for vineyards. The optimized height of the cab allows for more effective work in fruit orchards.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The 5ML tractor employs an efficient pressure and flow compensated hydraulic system that provides a flow rate of 117 l/min. This enables the connection of various hydraulic tools without the need for a PTO-driven external pump. The hydraulic system supports multiple tasks in one pass, enhancing work efficiency. The 5ML model is also equipped with a standard PowerQuad Plus transmission for greater fuel efficiency and reduced emissions.

Operating Parameters

The 5ML tractor can achieve a maximum rear lift capacity of 4.9 t and a front lift capacity of 2.9 t. Additionally, it features a maximum lift capacity at the hooks of 4,261 kg along with versatile operational flexibility depending on the tools used. It boasts a cab width of 1240 mm, ensuring comfort in terms of space. The fuel tank with a capacity of 139 l allows for prolonged work without refueling interruptions.

Optional Equipment

The 5ML model offers various optional packages, including the AutoTrac™ guidance system that enhances precision and work efficiency. Furthermore, options for ISOBUS connections and JDLink™ reporting tools are available for real-time monitoring and automated record-keeping. There is also compatibility with John Deere loaders from the 543M/R and 603M/R series as an optional feature.

Safety and Technical Data

The 5ML tractor is outfitted with professional safety systems, such as stylized LED lighting that improves visibility during operation in challenging conditions. The high classification of the category 4 certified cab ensures good working conditions, protecting against dust and other pollutants. Key technical parameters include a noise level of 77 dB(A) at the operator's ear. The tractor is suitably adapted for work in orchards and vineyards while being resistant to mechanical damage.
