JCB TM180/TM220 - Product Description

Powertrain and Design

The JCB TM180 and TM220 are telescopic wheel loaders that combine power and efficiency. Both models are powered by the JCB Diesel engine produced by Kohler, providing high power and torque at low RPMs. The TM180 features a gross power of 48 kW (64 hp) while the TM220 offers 54.5 kW (74 hp). These machines are designed for easy operation, which is particularly important for less experienced operators.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

Both models feature a hydrostatic drive, making them simple to operate. The high-speed option in the TM220 allows for a maximum speed of up to 40 km/h. Additionally, the TM180 and TM220 have an automatic engine shutdown feature after a set period of inactivity, reducing fuel consumption. The Eco Mode enhances fuel efficiency, making them more economical for daily use.

Operating Parameters

The TM180 loader has a maximum payload of 1800 kg and a lift height of up to 4534 mm. The TM220 increases this to 2200 kg of payload capacity and 4603 mm of lift height. Both models achieve similar operational parameters, making them suitable for various applications in construction and agriculture.

Optional Equipment

JCB offers various optional equipment for these loaders, including different axle types. The differential lock mechanism ensures better traction on challenging terrain. Additional features such as a towing option and hydraulic quick couplers are available, which increase the versatility of the machines for different tasks.

Safety and Technical Data

The safety of operators and machines is paramount. The JCB TM180 and TM220 comply with EU Stage V emissions standards. They are equipped with safety features, such as an immobiliser and an electronic quick hitch isolation system to prevent accidental release of attachments. Additionally, the machines' cabs provide excellent visibility, enhancing safety during operation.
