Powertrain and Design

The JCB JZ140 LC/HD is a tracked excavator powered by a JCB EcoMAX 444 TCA engine with a gross power of 81 kW (109 hp) and a displacement of 4.4 liters. It utilizes direct injection technology along with a turbocharged variable geometry intercooler. The undercarriage is constructed from a fully welded ‘X’ frame type featuring dirt relief holes under the top rollers.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The travel system of the JZ140 is fully hydrostatic with a two-speed automatic shift. The hydraulic system includes high-performance components, featuring two variable displacement pump units with maximum flow rates of 2 x 124 l/min. Additionally, a negative control open-centered hydraulic system enhances the efficiency.

Operating Parameters

This machine boasts an operational reach of up to 8787 mm, maximum digging depth of 6055 mm, and a dumping height of 7015 mm. The JZ140 LC/HD is equipped with a working tool capacity ranging from 0.35 to 0.89 m³. Operating weight varies from 15084 kg to 17880 kg, depending on the configuration.

Optional Equipment

The excavator comes standard with hydraulic flow regeneration as well as a one-touch power boost function. Optional attachments include various bucket types, with widths ranging from 600 mm to 1836 mm. Control options for auxiliary hydraulic flow allow for the storage of up to ten tool settings.
