Powertrain and Design

The machine is equipped with the Isuzu AH – 6HK1X TIER 3 engine, which operates on a four-stroke cycle with Common-Rail direct injection and a turbocharger. Its net power is 202 kW (271 PS) at 2000 RPM, with a gross power of 210 kW (281 PS) also at 2000 RPM. The hydraulic system is based on advanced Load-Sensing technology, allowing for efficient performance management. The machine's design features a fully welded 'X' frame, providing high rigidity and protection against damage.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The JCB JS330 features either a LC or NLC undercarriage, offering various track width options from 600 mm to 900 mm. The hydraulics consist of two variable displacement pumps with a maximum output of 2 x 290 l/min. Additionally, an integrated filtration system ensures the longevity of hydraulic components and high-quality operating fluid. Furthermore, it includes lubricated, sealed track rollers and guide wheels.

Operating Parameters

The maximum operating weight is 33,288 kg, with a peak bucket tear-out force of 18,300 kgf. Depending on the arm used, the machine can achieve various parameters, including a maximum digging depth of 6680 mm and a maximum loading height of 9725 mm for the 6.45 m arm. The undercarriage width in the LC version is 3200 mm, while in the NLC version it is 2990 mm.

Optional Equipment

The machine offers various accessory options, including different bucket lengths tailored for various tasks. There is the possibility to install standard, deep buckets, and hydraulic hammers. Additional equipment may also include overload protection and real-time machine status monitoring systems.

Safety and Technical Data

The JCB JS330 meets the highest safety standards, including ROPS and FOPS regulations. It also features hydraulic service brakes and an automatic traction lock system. Overall, the machine is designed to ensure both operational efficiency and user safety.
