Powertrain and Design

The JCB JS240/260 is equipped with an ISUZU 4HK1X engine that meets Tier 4i emissions standards. It offers a power output of 140 kW (188 hp) at 2000 rpm and has a displacement of 5.193 liters. The machine's structure is built with high-strength steel frames that ensure long-lasting reliability. Components are precisely manufactured using advanced production and assembly technologies.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The JCB JS240/260 undercarriage is constructed with a fully welded X-frame design, ensuring high durability in demanding working conditions. The hydraulic system employs advanced technology that provides low fuel consumption and efficient operation with two variable displacement pumps. Together with a control system, hydraulic parameters are adjusted to meet current work requirements.

Operating Parameters

The machine features a bucket capacity ranging from 0.77 to 1.46 m³ and an operating weight between 24238 and 28308 kg. A high bucket tear-out force up to 272 kN and maximum working reach allow for effective work in various applications. The JCB JS240/260 enables simultaneous moving and excavating, enhancing productivity.
