Powertrain and Design

The JCB 8008 CTS mini excavator features a 403D-07 engine with a rated power of 12.0 hp (9.0 kW) compliant with Interim Tier IV standards. The operating weight of the machine is 2094 lb (950 kg). The overall height in transport mode is 7-7 ft (2310 mm), while the length is 8-9 ft (2682 mm). These dimensions make the machine agile and easy to transport in various conditions.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

Model 8008 CTS is equipped with a two-section hydraulic system. The pump nominal output is 2.5 gpm (11.2 lpm) per section. The maximum pressure in the main relief is 2465 psi (170 bar), providing adequate working force. Optional auxiliary hydraulic flow can reach 5.0 gpm (22.4 lpm), which allows for efficient use of hydraulic tools.

Operating Parameters

The JCB 8008 CTS achieves a maximum digging height of 9-4 ft (2840 mm) and a maximum digging depth with the dozer up of 5-6 ft (1690 mm). The working reach is 12-2 ft (3110 mm). The maximum bucket rotation angle is 191 degrees, enhancing operational capabilities in confined spaces.
