Powertrain and Design

The JCB 208 S is the world’s first integral skid steer backhoe loader. It combines the digging ability of a 2-ton mini excavator with the loader performance of a 600 kg skid steer loader. With its compact size and ability to turn on its own axis, this machine is ideal for working in confined spaces.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

This machine is powered by a Peugeot XUD9 engine, delivering 32 kW of power. The hydraulic system allows for independent operation of various functions, enabling the loader to be utilized without affecting the drive performance. Control systems are user-friendly, and servo-assisted joysticks help ensure precise handling of the machine.

Operating Parameters

The JCB 208 S has a maximum digging reach of 4.244 m and a digging depth of 2.551 m. Its breakout force is 23.03 kN, making it an effective tool for earthmoving tasks. The machine has a bucket capacity of 0.32 m³, with a maximum dump height of 3.442 m.

Optional Equipment

Optional accessories available for the JCB 208 S include a fully glazed cab, as well as various tire options such as JCB Airboss tires. Standard equipment includes an integrated ROPS and FOPS canopy, providing an additional level of operator protection.
