Powertrain and Design

The HYDREMA MX14, MX16, and MX18 are compact mobile excavators designed for versatility. They offer configurable boom lengths ranging from 2.0 m to 3.0 m. Users can also select support variants, including front or rear blade or a combination. Standard equipment includes a hydraulic quick coupler and an optional Roto-tilt system, enhancing operational flexibility.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

HYDREMA MX features a hydraulic system with a dual circuit and load-sensing high-pressure system for its swing operations. The system allows connection to three independent hydraulic consumers. Power control and ECO mode enhance operational efficiency. The axles provide stable braking and steering performance.

Operating Parameters

The MX14, MX16, and MX18 models weigh 14.7/16.1 t, 16.1/17.5 t, and 17.9/19.3 t respectively. The working reach is up to 9160 mm, while maximum digging depth reaches 5280 mm on the MX14 and MX16, and 5850 mm on the MX18. The maximum torque is provided by the Cummins QSB 4.5 engine, delivering 119 kW of power and 624 Nm at 1500 rpm.

Optional Equipment

The machines offer optional equipment such as a comfortable air-suspended seat, air conditioning, and various storage spaces. The cab can be customized with large mirrors featuring electric adjustments and additional storage under and behind the seat. Optional FOPS covers are also available.

Safety and Technical Data

User safety is ensured through safety systems like ROPS in the cabin. Key parameters such as the braking system are designed for maximum reliability—a dual-circuit system with oil bath brakes ensures effective stopping capabilities. The machines also comply with emissions standards at level 3b.
