Powertrain and Design

The Hitachi EX270 is a crawler excavator weighing 26.5 tons, designed for maximum work efficiency. It is equipped with a Hino H06CTi engine rated at 120 kW (121 HP), providing reliable power required for challenging work conditions. The newly designed cab ensures operator comfort and meets ISO standards. The transport length is 10.45 m, with a transport height of 3 m.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The EX270 utilizes a hydraulic system integrated with pilot control, allowing for precise and comfortable operation. The high travel speed of 4.6 km/h (2.9 mph) and 3.7 km/h (2.3 mph) for low speed ensures excellent mobility on job sites. Sealed pin track links and undercarriage design contribute significantly to the machine's durability, which is critical for prolonging its lifespan.
