Powertrain and Design

The Fendt 5255 L-PL is a modern combine harvester equipped with an AGCO Power engine with a displacement of 7.4 l. This engine achieves a maximum power of 179 kW (243 PS), and with the additional PowerBoost system, power can reach up to 225 kW (306 PS). Thanks to the application of modern technologies, the combine exhibits high efficiency while maintaining low fuel consumption.

Working System and Hydraulics

The Fendt 5255 L-PL is equipped with an innovative threshing system that significantly enhances harvesting efficiency. It also features the Multi Crop Separator Plus system, which ensures high quality grain separation from plant residues. Furthermore, the combine is fitted with five straw walkers, which improves the management of plant waste and increases harvesting productivity.

Operating Parameters

The Fendt 5255 L-PL has a large grain tank capacity of 8600 l, allowing for longer intervals between emptying. The working width of the cutting mechanism is 5.4 m, enabling efficient harvesting of crops over large areas. The performance of the threshing system is further supported by a high drum rotational speed of up to 1100 rpm.

Optional Equipment

The Fendt 5255 L-PL can be additionally equipped with a range of accessories such as special rapeseed knives or grain loss monitoring systems. An optional residue processing system is also available, enabling users to tailor the machine to specific needs. The combine is also available in a ParaLevel version, providing stability in challenging terrain conditions.

Safety and Technical Data

The machine incorporates several features enhancing operator safety, such as an air-conditioned cabin with an adjustable seat, electrically operated mirrors, and monitoring systems. The Fendt 5255 L-PL complies with Tier 4f emission standards, making it an environmentally friendly machine. Additionally, the combine has been designed for easy maintenance and access to key components.
