Powertrain and Design

The Claas Axion 960 is a 4WD agricultural tractor equipped with a 8.71 l FPT Cursor 9 engine. The engine generates an output of 327 kW at 1800 rpm and delivers a maximum torque of 1860 Nm. The design of the vehicle considers stability and maximum power transfer, making it suitable for heavy-duty fieldwork. Its transport length is 5.744 m, making the machine mobile and easy to maneuver.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The Axion 960 features an efficient hydraulic system with a maximum output of 150 l/min. It is equipped with a load-sensing hydraulic system that allows for optimal management of power supplied to attached implements. The tractor also enables the connection of up to six electronic spool valves, enhancing its versatility in working with a variety of tools. Additionally, the tractor is designed for easy access to all service points.

The Claas Axion 960 reaches a maximum speed of 50 km/h, making it an efficient tool for transport tasks. Its maximum lifting capacity is 11,250 kg, enabling operation with heavy implements.
