Powertrain and Design

The CLAAS ARION 640 is equipped with a modern DPS 6-cylinder engine with a displacement of 6788 cm3, which generates a power of 114 kW (155 PS) at nominal speeds of 2200 U/min and a maximum power of 129 kW (175 PS) with the CPM system. This technology provides the ARION 640 with excellent performance across a wide range of applications. The engine offers a stable torque of 657 Nm, making it suitable for intensive work in various conditions. The tractor's design is engineered to reduce emissions, conforming to ECE R 24 standards.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The undercarriage of the ARION 640 consists of a hydraulically controlled front axle with automatic all-wheel drive. The maximum speed reaches up to 50 km/h at 1900 U/min, ensuring transportation efficiency. This also facilitates smooth movement on fields and roads. The hydraulic system incorporates a modern Load-Sensing installation with a capacity of 110 l/min, which enhances the versatility of the tractor, increasing its adaptability for various working tools.

Operating Parameters

The ARION 640 features overall best operating parameters in the mid-power tractor class, achieving a maximum operational power of up to 175 PS depending on applied technology. The permissible total mass is 11,000 kg, balanced front-rear in a ratio of 53% to 47%. The tractor has a rear lift with a maximum load capacity of 8000 kg and an integrated front lifting facility capable of lifting up to 4000 kg, enabling easy completion of high-power tasks.

Optional Equipment

The standard equipment of the ARION 640 includes a comfortable cabin with an air conditioning system and advanced CIS and CEBIS terminals. The cabin is suspended on four points, increasing working comfort and visibility. The installed multifunctional armrest and DRIVESTICK system allow for intuitive control of the HEXASHIFT transmission. Additionally, various accessories are available, such as GPS automatic control systems and diverse working devices, significantly enhancing the tractor's possibilities.
