CLAAS ARION 400 - Product Description

Powertrain and Design

The ARION 400 is a modern agricultural tractor powered by a 4.5 l FPT engine. Available in various configurations, models include 410, 420, 430, 440, 450, and 460, offering nominal power ranging from 63 kW (85 hp) to 99 kW (135 hp). The engine complies with Stage IV (Tier 4) emissions regulations, ensuring efficient performance and reduced emissions.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The tractor features an undercarriage characterized by high maneuverability and stability. The ARION 400 is equipped with various hydraulic systems, including an open-center hydraulic system with a flow rate of 60 l/min and a Load-Sensing system with a flow rate of 110 l/min. Hydraulic capabilities are complemented by electronic controls with up to five electronic actuators.

Operating Parameters

The ARION 400 tractor achieves maximum torque levels, reaching 570 Nm for the 460 model and 405 Nm for the 410 model. Lifting capacity on the hydraulic system is up to 5750 kg. In each model, various transmission ratios are available, with the highest speed reaching 40 km/h.

Optional Equipment

The tractor offers various equipment versions including CIS and CIS+, which provide displays with different functionalities as well as options for panoramic or low-roof cabins. User equipment also includes various climate control options and comfortable seats with adjustable systems.

Safety and Technical Data

The ARION 400 fares well in the safety category, thanks to systems such as automatic differential locking and various braking systems. The tractor is also compliant with international standards, allowing the use of ISOBUS devices, which enhances its functionality and flexibility.
