CLAAS ARION 400 - Product Description

Powertrain and Design

The ARION 400 tractors are powered by FPT engines with a displacement of 4.5 liters, meeting Stage IV (Tier 4) emission standards. Each model offers various power levels, from 85 to 135 HP, with maximum torque reaching 570 Nm. The modern engine design ensures stable performance under diverse working conditions. The engines are equipped with turbochargers and an SCR system, contributing to efficiency and fuel savings.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The ARION 400 tractors provide different hydraulic systems, including an open hydraulic circuit with flow rates of 60 l/min and 100 l/min, as well as a Load-Sensing system with a flow rate of 110 l/min. The maximum lift capacity of the rear linkage ranges from 3200 to 5750 kg, depending on the model. The drive system also features various transmission options, including QUADRISHIFT and HEXASHIFT, allowing efficient adaptation to terrain conditions.

Operating Parameters

The ARION 460 model delivers a rated power of 135 HP and maximum torque of up to 570 Nm. The top speed is 40 km/h, significantly enhancing its versatility in agricultural applications. All models are characterized by a height clearance from 2.50 to 2.61 m, facilitating easy maneuvering in various terrain conditions.

Optional Equipment

Various cab options are available, including high-roof versions with a glass roof hatch and low-roof cabs. The ARION 400 tractors can also be equipped with the CIS system featuring a display, as well as additional functions such as GPS PILOT steering management and overload prevention systems. Different types of hydraulic lines and lift systems are also available, allowing customization to individual operator needs.

Safety and Technical Data

The ARION 400 tractors meet high safety standards, including FOPS certification, which provides protection against falling objects. Each model is also equipped with effective braking systems and optionally features automatic four-wheel drive engagement. Key technical parameters also include long oil change intervals, which contribute to lower operating costs.
