Powertrain and Design

The ARION 400 series features FPT engines with a capacity of 4.5 l, delivering power up to 155 hp and a torque of 631 Nm. With its 4-valve technology and high-pressure common rail injection system, the ARION 400 ensures constant output across a wide range of engine speeds. The CLAAS POWER MANAGEMENT system adds an additional 10 hp in the 470-440 models, boosting maximum output to 155 hp. Designed for efficient performance and low fuel consumption, the ARION 400 features a balanced weight distribution of 50% front and 50% rear.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The modern QUADRISHIFT and HEXASHIFT transmissions allow for gear changes without using the clutch, enhancing operator comfort during work. The ARION 400 is equipped with hydraulic systems that provide flows of up to 150 l/min, enabling simultaneous use of multiple hydraulic functions. With the option to configure up to three mechanical or four electronic spool valves, the tractor adapts to different agricultural applications. The hydraulic system supports intensive front-loader work and specialized hydraulic tasks.

Operating Parameters

The ARION 470 model achieves a nominal power of 114 kW (155 hp) and a torque of 631 Nm. The maximum lift capacity of the rear linkage is 6.25 t, with overall dimensions of 4444 mm in length and 2715 mm in height in the high cab version. The fuel tank capacity is 190 l, allowing for extended operation without frequent refueling. The tractor's permissible weight does not exceed 9000 kg, ensuring stability and safety during field operations.
