Cat 432 – Product Description

Powertrain and Design

The Cat C3.6 engine meets EU Stage V emission standards while delivering a 10% fuel efficiency improvement compared to the previous model. The aftertreatment system is completely maintenance-free, utilizing Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), and a fit-for-life Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). This new engine provides power and torque density on par with the C4.4 engine used in the previous model.

Working System and Hydraulics

The machine is equipped with a load-sensing hydraulic system and a variable-displacement piston pump, delivering powerful hydraulics when the operator really requires it. EH seat-mounted controls provide enhanced comfort and flexibility, allowing the operator to control the hoe, loader, or both from any seat position. Interactive display screens provide information and enable customization of hoe response rates.

Operating Parameters

The C3.6 engine is available in two versions: 74.5 kW (101 hp) and 82 kW (111 hp). Maximum torque is 436 N·m and 485 N·m respectively. The operating weight is 8322 kg, with a maximum weight of 11000 kg. The hydraulic system operates at a pressure of 250 bar for both backhoe and loader, with a pump capacity of 187 L/min.

Optional Equipment

The Cat 432 offers various equipment options, including standard and deluxe cabs, all-wheel drive, various tire types, and additional hydraulic attachments. Product Link™ comes standard, allowing for tracking fuel consumption and machine location data, which increases productivity and reduces costs. Options for hydraulic controls and different stick lengths are also available.

Safety and Technical Data

The cab with ROPS/FOPS certification provides operator safety in the event of machine rollover. The Cat 432 features a reversing alarm and stabilizer alarm, enhancing safety during operation. Key technical parameters include a cylinder bore of 98 mm and a stroke of 120 mm.
