Powertrain and Design

The Cat 424D is equipped with a Caterpillar 3054B engine rated at 55 kW (74 hp), well-known for its reliability. The engine is naturally aspirated and complies with emission standards. It features a durable gear-driven water pump and a thermal starting aid for low-temperature starts.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

This machine is equipped with an independent hydraulic system that delivers power precisely where needed, enhancing operational efficiency. The load-sensing system and XT hydraulic hoses ensure long-lasting performance and reliability. Additionally, the new pump torque-limiter control maximizes power distribution.
