Powertrain and Design

The CAT 336D2 L is equipped with a Cat C9 ACERT™ engine that meets Japan 2006 (Tier 3), U.S. EPA Tier 3, EU Stage IIIA, and China Stage III Nonroad emission standards. The engine delivers a net power of 208 kW (279 hp) and provides excellent performance with low fuel consumption. Coupled with advanced hydraulic systems, the machine ensures high operational efficiency. Its robust structural strength makes it suitable for the toughest applications.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The hydraulic system in the CAT 336D2 L utilizes dual main pumps, delivering outstanding digging performance and productivity. The hydraulic components are closely positioned to minimize pressure losses and friction. An independent pilot system enables smooth and precise control of the machine functions, enhancing operational efficiency. The built-in regeneration system reduces energy consumption, translating into fuel savings.
