Powertrain and Design

The CASE WX240 is a wheeled excavator powered by the latest III Family diesel engine, generating 129 kW (173 hp). Extended service intervals of 500 hours minimize downtime and maximize productivity. The machine's optimized design allows for excellent visibility from the cab and lets operators adjust their position to suit individual needs. High performance ratings and stability make it a versatile choice.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The WX240 features independent control for the dozer blade and stabilizers, providing a stable working platform. Two quick coupler options enhance the versatility of this model. The hydraulic system consists of three variable displacement pumps, ensuring high performance and precision management. The PowerShift transmission allows for variable travel speeds up to 25 km/h while maintaining optimal tractive effort.

Operating Parameters

The maximum operating weight is 24300 kg, and the bucket capacity ranges from 0.47 m3 to 1.85 m3. The excavator also offers a wide swing radius, enabling effective operation in confined spaces. Lifting and digging capabilities are significantly enhanced with the Power Boost function. With a well-defined working area, the operator can achieve optimal results in all conditions.

Optional Equipment

Standard equipment includes an electro-hydraulic control system and internal noise level diagnostics. Optional accessories include air conditioning, radio, and FOPS guard for the cab roof. This allows customization for various working conditions and enhances operator comfort. The pleasant and ergonomic cab also boosts operational efficiency.

Safety and Technical Data

The safety system of the WX240 features an automatic battery cut-off switch and visual and audible signals for axle lock. The engine complies with EU Tier III standards, ensuring low emissions. Additionally, the inching control mode and slow-speed travel increase safety in challenging terrain conditions. With a large stabilizer footprint, the machine retains stability on uneven ground.
