Puma - Product Description

Powertrain and Design

The Case IH Puma series ranges from 140 to 240 HP and is built in Austria using the latest FPT engine technology. It features a proven design with semi-powershift, full powershift, and continuously variable transmissions, ensuring effective power transfer and operational flexibility. The Puma X version offers straightforward, easy-to-operate models ideal for modern farming. The Multicontroller and CVX versions enhance comfort and efficiency with intuitive operational control features.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

Puma tractors are equipped with high-performance hydraulic systems featuring pump capacities up to 170 l/min and an EHR system that facilitates easier management of the hitch and implements. The models offer a maximum lift capacity of 10,463 kg, allowing them to be paired with heavy working tools. The four-wheel drive system and automatic differential lock management ensure stability and traction in the field.

Operating Parameters

The Puma 140 X generates a rated power of 103 kW (140 HP) at an engine speed of 2,200 rpm with a maximum torque of 700 Nm. Multicontroller models range from 110 kW (150 HP) to 162 kW (220 HP), achieving maximum torque from 700 Nm to 1,000 Nm. The CVX series also includes models with even higher parameters, featuring advanced power management systems.

Optional Equipment

Depending on the model chosen, the Puma tractors offer various cab finish options and advanced ISOBUS and AFS navigation systems. These allow for integration with a wide range of equipment, significantly increasing work efficiency. Additionally, tractors are available with various seat types, including leather and seats featuring the Dynamic Damping System for maximum comfort.

Safety and Technical Data

User safety is enhanced with ABS available in the higher CVX models. Furthermore, tractors have improved visibility due to the well-designed cab and performance monitoring systems. The Puma series achieves long service intervals of up to 600 hours for the engine and 1,200 hours for the hydraulic system, minimizing maintenance costs.
